What do suppliers think of RedOrange Industry?

RedOrange Industry has established a positive rapport with a number of specialist suppliers now because it takes cost out of the supply chain. RO-I utilizes the following strategies when building supplier relationships:

1. Build up the relationship with steady, maybe increasing turnover and intensive communication
2. Determine transactional cost savings by delivering the orders through connections
3. Aggregate demand (when possible)
4. Offer a visualization in the Industry catalog of their best selling items, with a link to their own
webshop (when available, otherwise upload all articles into the Industry Catalog)
5. Offer the suppliers a preferred position regarding orderdesk purchases
6. Involving suppliers in the Continuous Improvement Process at the customer
7. Offering promotional space to let the customer be aware of the supplier’s new products.
8. Utilizing supplier’s technical expertise with our customers so a value added relationship is developed.

Who are RedOrange Industry's customers?

Customers can be classified in the following categories:

1. Large European manufacturing businesses that want to implement MRO procurement process
to save costs over multiple locations.
2. Large Health institutes who want to focus on big ticket items and reach savings over the "Tail"
    suppliers anyway.
3. Original Equipment Manufacturers focusing on C-parts management
4. Process industries (i.e. mining, energy businesses)
5. Project organizations, where the supplier is often an OEM and where they have a lot
    engineered parts.

Why shouldn't I go to a large supplier who supplies different product groups?

A regular (large) supplier with a large scope of articles can supply a great amount of products en fulfills one invoice. Only are you missing on some aspects which are very important:
Specialized personnel with the knowledge to answer specific questions
More than just the best selling items are on stock
Product savings. It is obvious that these supplier buy their materials at (local, European) specialists. By adding at least 20% margin to the products, this is not an efficient solution.

With RedOrange Industry you can do business with every supplier of your choice (including engineered parts), maintaining knowledge and expertise.

Isn't RedOrange Industry a E-hub?

In the first phase the similarity between RedOrange Industry and a E-hub is there. Both hubs as RedOrange Industry are connecting parties. RO-I does more:

1. Building one catalog for all products that the customer buys on a regular basis
2. Connecting not only E-capable suppliers and adapting to non EDI orders
3. Not only connecting, but also training of connected suppliers, leveraging of the connections, implementing the connections at both sides.
4. Offering 1 order, 1 Invoice, order desk, expert center for standardization and debranding
5. Achieve savings on Process cost, product cost and working capital

Is my new supplier RedOrange Industry?

Yes. RedOrange Industry is the supplier where you place the order, who sends you the invoice. We arrange that de goods will arrive in time on the location you requested and through the service level you requested. The only difference is that you WILL know the end supplier and know the exact conditions. Cross-docking is possible as well with additional cost (just like "regular" suppliers)

How is this legally organized?

RedOrange Industry has set up a "third force account" where the payments of the suppliers is guaranteed by the customer where the goods are delivered to.
